FSC® FOR FUTURE
GENERATIONS
For us, wood is much more than just raw material. Despite the fact that it is an excellent material for creating lamps, it is also an important natural resource that we want to protect.
SPOT Light is one of few manufacturers of lighting in Europe that have the FSC® - certificate.
This symbol, appearing on our products, guarantees that the wood used during the production of our lamps is legally sourced from sustainably managed forests.
NATURAL
materials
High quality, natural, and biodegradable components - metal, linen, jute, cotton, glass, concrete, and certified wood and wallpaper, among other materials – as the result of our work, are being transformed into exceptional lights, which are ecological and sustainable.
We focus on natural resources and renewable raw materials, that is why our products are packaged without plastic bags nor bubble wrap. To pack the lamps we use recycled carbon boxes and paper tape.
Small elements are placed in paper bags, and to secure the products, the inside is filled also with paper.
Instructions are being printed on recycled paper. Accordingly, the lampshades are also made of derived and recyclable foil.
DURABLE
and repairable
SPOT Light illuminations are durable and repairable. Simply select the best quality lights produced by us and enjoy them for a long time – and if for any reason the light stops working, don’t throw it away – send it back to our manufactory and we will happily give it a second life.
In addition, we guarantee the availability of spare parts for at least 10 years after purchase. By taking care of the amount of used natural resources, you take care of the environment in which we live.
In our lighting fittings, we use the highest quality, replaceable SAMSUNG LED diodes, thanks to which we provide a 5-year warranty for LED light sources in the 24V technology, and a 3-years warranty for LED light sources in the 12V technology.
Together with us, take care of the amount of the consumed energy by using replaceable and repairable LED technology.
LOW CO2
emissions
Short transportation routes within European Union mean quick delivery dates. Small minimal order quantities allow us to produce only what is needed for our customers – by that we optimize the number of manufactured products and transported goods.
Greenhouse gasses, such as carbon dioxide and methane, are responsible for climate change and negative shifts in our ecosystem. As we manufacture our products in Europe, the end product has a short route to reach the consumer, as result, the CO2 emission associated with transportation stays low.
Moreover, 80% of the components used during the production process of our lights come from not further than 150km from our manufacturing site, which also means short transportation and minimal CO2 emission along the entire supply chain.
LOW CO2
emissions
As a company we are „electrically neutral” – 150KW solar panels installed in our company, completely cover our energy demand – we produce more electricity than we consume. We have two electric car chargers that are powered by solar energy. supply chain.
We are aware of how important the „green lungs” are, that’s why, on our 5ha total area, as much as 2,6ha are green spaces. Rainwater is being collected and used to water the plants and garden work – on the factory area we have 56 000l underground tank.
Cartonboard waste is reused – crushed and cut in a special way is being used as the filling for the packaging. From waste that our carpentry shop produces we create pellets.
